Battery electric vehicle (BEV)- Battery electric vehicle (BEV) is also called as all electric vehicles. they are Powered by batteries. Electric Vehicle 2023 ‘EV’ It has no internal combustion engine. They can be recharge form electricity grid, regenerative braking.

Plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV)- Plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) has both electric batteries and internal combustion engine they can be recharge from electricity grid, regenerative braking.

Hybrid electric vehicle (HEV)- Hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) they have both electric battery and internal combustion engine. they can be recharged by only regenerative braking and no external charge port so no recharge from electricity grid.

Fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV)- Electric Vehicle 2023 ‘EV’ Fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV) is also called as ‘fuel cell vehicles’. They employ ‘fuel cell technology’ in order to generate electricity. here chemical energy of fuel is converted into electric energy.

- Charger Port.
- Battery Charger.

1)Charge Port- Charge port is a one that connect to the external power grid and charges the battery pack it is present in battery electric vehicle and plug in hybrid electric vehicle.
2)Battery Charger- Battery charger is the one that converts alternating current (AC) received through the charge part to direct current (DC) to store in battery pack.
3)Battery Pack- the battery pack is an electrical energy storage system in the form of direct current (DC). a battery pack is a set of any number of individual battery cells they are configured in series parallel, or combination commonly used in Lithium-Ion battery. Electric Vehicle 2023 ‘EV’
4)Battery management System (BMS)- Battery management system (BMS) is an electronics system that manages the battery pack by protecting the battery from operating outside its safe operating area. Electric Vehicle 2023 ‘EV’
Monitoring its state, Reporting the data, Controlling its environment and cell balancing.
5) Power Converter- The power converter it is a DC/DC converter.it takes the voltage from DC source and converts the DC voltage level into another DC voltage level. used to increase or decrease voltage level.
6) Power Inverter- The power inverters convert direct current (DC) on the battery into an alternating current (AC). it is used by electric motor to drive the wheels during regenerative braking, AC is converted to DC and then need to recharge the battery.
7) Electric Motor- Electric motor it is used to convert electrical energy to mechanical energy to drive the vehicle. Electric Vehicle 2023 ‘EV’
