Maruti Suzuki To Automate Driving License Test Tracks in UP

Maruti Suzuki inks MoA with Uttar Pradesh Government’s Vehicle Division to automate driving permit test tracks. there is the Maruti Suzuki will attempt robotization of the driving license test track using and requisite technology in accordance with the central motor Vehicles Rules (CMVR) to assess fundamental driving abilities(skills).

Maruti Suzuki India has gone into an Update of Agreement (MoA) with the Transport Department of the Government of Uttar Pradesh to automate driving license test tracks at Driver Training and Testing Institutes(DTTIs) in Ayodhya, Gorakhpur, Mathura, Prayagraj, and Varanasi. The drive intends to improve the issuance cycle of driving licenses by incorporating advanced technology for a more comprehensive efficient and transparent approach. The DTTIs will be furnished with experimentally planned test tracks, superior quality cameras, and a coordinated IT framework to guarantee precise testing of driving abilities. these advanced facility will assess driving license aspirants, with a specific spotlight on advancing safe driving. Just people showing capable driving abilities will be qualified to get a driving license. Under the MoA, Maruti Suzuki will mechanize driving license. test tracks for Heavy Engine Vehicles (HMV), Light Engine Vehicles (LMV), and 2-wheelers.

Chandra Bhushan Singh (IAS), Transport Commissioner, of Government of Uttar Pradesh, speaking on the signing said “Under the MoA, test tracks at Driver Training and Testing Institutes (DTTIs) at Ayodhya, Gorakhpur, Mathura, Prayagraj and Varanasi will be automated. This will make our roads safer, help bring down road accidents and save lives”

Rahul Bharti, Chief, Corporate Undertakings, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, who also attended the signing ceremony, and asking “for over two decades, Maruti Suzuki has been working enthusiastically towards 5Es of street security (Designing, Schooling, Evaluation, Authorization and Emergency Care) and have prepared more than 44 lakh individuals in safe driving preparation through our 8 institutes of Driving and Traffic research across India.”

“The mechanization of driving permit test tracks at DTTIs is a significant change in license issuance system as it guarantees no human mediation in testing. Driver license aspirants are thoroughly surveyed in a goal and straightforward way with video examination all in something like ten minutes, thus ensuring that main those with imperative abilities are given a driving license,” he further added.
